Conservation Club AU aims to shine a light on our unique continent—its lesser-known yet remarkably diverse environments, and the native and endemic species found across this Great Southern Land. Although the educational activity books are primarily designed for readers aged 8+, the detailed images and fun facts appeal just as strongly to older Australians. Unless you’re a biologist, some of these discoveries may genuinely surprise you!  The early reader series is designed for 4-10-year-old readers but maintains the accuracy of factual information in simpler language.

Australia is the sixth-largest country on Earth and the only nation that spans an entire continent. Our long isolation from the rest of the world has allowed many animal and plant species to evolve over millions of years, resulting in extraordinary biodiversity found nowhere else. Within our borders lies an impressive variety of environments—high alpine bogs, deserts, coral reefs, Wallum country, Noongar country, the landscapes of the Northern Territory, the Tiwi Islands and countless other islands (including Kangaroo, King, Tasmania, Bruny, and the Torres Strait Islands). Many of these places face growing threats from climate change and extreme weather, as well as the impacts of human activity.
